Amy + Tim | Engagement Session

I got a call from my buddy Colleen last Thursday about a last minute photo inquiry for her friend Amy. Funny thing is I declined because I had to work a full shift the next day. I got a text message from my coworker late that night who kindly insisted that I should do this photo session prior to what she saw on facebook haha. She made that happen by giving me a two hour lunch break that morning! So thank you to miss Colleen and Natalie for making this all work out!

Amy and her fiance Tim just recently got engaged and needed a last minute photographer for their engagement photos.  Tim was only going to be home for one day before he's deployed for another 7 months. These two are clearly very much in love. I'm blessed that I was able to meet and hang out with these guys!

Just a peak into Amy and Tim's session:

Lizzie & Brad's Wedding | Foxboro Ranch, Arizona | Second Shooter

Last month I went on a little road trip to Flagstaff, Arizona with Stacee and Alexis for Lizzie and Brad's wedding! I'm so blessed to be able to learn around people who I admire and am comfortable with. This is the first wedding i've second shot in a while. And it was an amazing experience. I loved being able to learn more by watching Stacee do her magic, and also getting to know how to work with the videographers and vendors.

Before we drove to our hotel in Flagstaff, we decided to check out the ranch. I was a little overwhelmed by the beauty. When I'm overwhelmed, I usually have a goofy grin from ear to ear repeatedly saying, "It's so pretty, ahhh it's so pretty." When you're so used to living in LA with hot weather, smog, marine layer, buildings, traffic... you kind of forget what real weather, fresh air and openness is like. Like watching and hearing crazy thunderstorms, real fog in fields surrounding farms and pretty mountains and trees haha. I don't belong in LA people.

I loved every part of this trip. So, with this little post... please go to Stacee's blog for the first and second part of the wedding! She's amazing!!

Jenny & Matt's Wedding Photobooth

Stacee asked if I would join her to assist the photobooth for another wedding this weekend. I'm thankful for this lady giving me opportunities such as these! ;) She is such an influence and an awesome friend. I also got to see Diana again which was pretty awesome as well! Jenny and Matt's wedding was amazing! I may post a couple photos of the venue and details of the wedding in a few weeks. I want to live at the Carondelet House haha.

Brandon & Jonica- Engagement Session

Last weekend I had the privilege to document a very special moment for Brandon and Jonica. It was just in January when we had our valentine's session. But Brandon contacted me a month ago about planning a surprise proposal. He picked out the location and organized a picnic themed session for July. Talk about someone who knows what they like and what they want haha! So easy to work with when it comes to planning.

The shoot was planned to be their 1 year anniversary session. Little did Jonica know that it would turn into their engagement session! Yep, she said yes! Thankfully, whew haha! The reaction she had was adorable. I'm very happy that these two let me be apart of their lucky day!

Bits & Pieces of Rachel & Anthony's Wedding

A couple of weeks ago I spent the day with Stacee and Lauren in San Diego for Rachel & Anthony's wedding! I did the photobooth, but wanted to share just a few photos that I liked from earlier that day! You can check all of the amazing details and photos on Stacee's blog!

Rachel & Anthony's Wedding Photobooth- 6.9.12

Yesterday I had a fun opportunity to hang out with Stacee and Lauren in San Diego as they documented Rachel and Anthony's wedding!! Stacee had asked if I would do the photobooth at the reception. Only because I love Stacee ;) and working with her master vision and heart, I said yes.

Let's just say I'm not an expert when it comes to lighting, strobes and flash. But surely enough, with a few adjustments I got the results I was aiming towards. I'm soooo happy I took the advantage to learn and do something different from my normal outdoor lighting procedures.
I had a great time with these ladies!

Check out the rest of the photobooth portraits!!

Thanks Lauren for taking this shot!! :D
